Here are some styling tips, mostly all things I've tried. It's always fun to get creative and funky with your pony's hair, add some style and something personal. More tips, and styles are great, credit would be given, and photos are awesome!

Preping: A good dry brushing is always good, break the hair into sections and brush carefully. You’re bound to have less breakage if you brush while the hair is dry, but if you do it too hard you will cause frizzing. If the hair is really tangled, use Detangler on the hair, you can usually find it in the hair and shampoo sections. It usually comes in a spray and can be sprayed on as needed during the brushing, highly recommended.

Cleaning: Afterwards, a good shampooing and then conditioning is great. Leave set for a few minutes for the best in shine. After that, rinse and you’re ready for styling!

Tools: Great styling tools are, tissues, straws, bobby pins and elastic bands. Dollar stores are great places to get these things, but any store will do.

Curling pony’s hair: while hair is wet, wrap a tiny bit of tissue around the tip of the tail to keep it nice, then using a bobby pin and a cut piece of straw, wrap the ponies hair around, fasten, and you’re done! Leave set over night, or 12 hours, and then undo, and you’ve got great curls! You can also use tissue to wrap the pony's tail around her leg for a simple curl, and her mane around her neck.
If You want those Awesome Raincurl or Candy Cane Curls Try using long uncut straws, wrap them all the way down the straw, and leave site for at least 48 hours. Remove and enjoy your curles :)

Braids: There's the classic three strands braid, always cute in pig tails, tiny braids, or many small braids looped up in various ways, get creative!

Twisted: Get twisted! Twist two strands for a differnt braid, great a single long braid, pig tails, and looped up!

Attack of the Frizz: If you’re pony’s hair is still way too frizzy after a few good conditionings, then as a last resort, use a curling iron. Make sure there is PLENTY of conditioner on her hair, and her hair is WET, you’ll hear it sizzle, just keep checking and making sure she’s not melting. Please don’t burn yourself either. A few times through should do it.

Taming Tinsel: Flat irons are great, make sure the hair is wet, and be careful! Sometimes it’s the best thing to save an otherwise dead tinsel pony. Keep it to a low heat, and for no more than 20 to 25 seconds. Be careful with the clear tinsel, I've heard that the tinsel will just curl more and smell.
